Drathir (moon)
Spirit of Midnight's Glow Valsharen Male
Bold Italic #385168
Impressive and daunting at first glance is this Imperial. Standing at an intimidating 6’0”, golden amber eyes are the first things you’ll see piercing you in your soul. They’re surrounded by a soft, light gray long haired coat unbroken by any shading or markings. This wolf’s figure is lean and fit, with his head usually held high and his tail aloft. The most stark thing about him though is the glow that emanates from his body. It’s a gentle, silver-touched light reminiscent of the full moon. It lights up the area around him and makes him quite impossible to miss. But who could glaze over such a demanding presence as this Valsharen anyways, hm?
This wolf doesn’t seem to be from this world, though his species says otherwise. It’s just the way he holds himself, the way moved and his amber eyes pin you down from a league away. The glow his body gives certainly doesn’t help this vibe, though he never does answer anyone’s questions about it. The fact that he’s friendly and strikes up conversation willingly doesn’t even help, surprisingly. But nobody can doubt his character or motives, for he’s loyal to a fault. Once you gain his trust he will stand by you like an unmoving statue, daring anyone to question him. The Spirit of Midnight demands respect and expects to be listened to. Don’t try telling him he’s wrong, either- he’s extremely stubborn and unless his error was big, he won’t admit to it.

Some healers mend wounds of the body, others maladies of the mind. This Darlshei, however, has set her sights on mending the scars of the soul- and she has every intention of starting with Halrae.
Why, you ask? Because she gets it. She might not have lost all that Halrae has, indeed hasn’t seen all that much in her comparatively short life, but she’s got empathy in spades. More than that, she’s got a nose for trauma that therapists would envy. Put her in a room and she’ll gravitate towards the person harboring the most pain. Once she’s found her target she’s utterly relentless in the pursuit of healing them- and humor is her best weapon against the dark. She’s a deeply silly creature, entirely willing to loll on her back with paws flailing if it means making someone laugh. If you’re laughing, you aren’t thinking about how much you hurt. Once you’re able to let go, to move past the moment, you can really start healing. She cares, you see, and expresses it in ways both covert and overt. Little things happen when she’s around: cups of tea when you’re feeling chilly, blankets folded by the fire when you come in from the cold. Bigger things happen too: long-awaited reunions, conversations that have needed to happen for longer than she’s been alive. In the end she’s there for you in whatever capacity you need her. After all, that’s what friends are for!
Ikal’daka are meant to resemble wolves, but this one more closely resembles one of Earth’s Akita Inus. She’s got the solid build, long legs, and curled-over tail associated with the breed, albeit on a vastly larger scale. Her thick double coat is stark, snowy white, unchanging from head to toe. It’s only when you get up-close and personal that her secret is revealed: each individual hair is tipped with black, making her seem to sparkle with every movement. Her eyes are soft teal, the color of spring runoff, as are the runes that dance over her coat whenever she brings her magic to bear.
Speaking of magic, she’s capable of one trick most Darlshei aren’t. At will she can project an aura of comfort and familiarity. Everyone experiences this aura a little differently; one person might smell woodsmoke and feel physical warmth, while another might smell flowers and feel a cool breeze. Whatever its effect, this aura always somehow reminds others of a positive experience once shared with friends.
