The Sungrazer Onagadori
(Female Ankaa -- Azimuth)
A rare breed made even rarer by its mutation, this Onagadori is quite a sight to behold. Tall and lanky, she struts on lean legs with the head held high, standing head and shoulders above many of her flock friends. A marshmallow queen, she's sugar dusted with pure white on her face, her neck, her body, and all the way down her legs. It's not until one gets the tip of her wings that hints of yellow and orange begin to glitter, the color only fully exposed when you look to her comment tail of the trail, a fiery looking banner of feathers that only grow never more, each individual one a different shade of red or orange or gold.
Appropriately, her personality matches her looks, fiery and noble and bold. She has an outgoing personality, preferring to be around others, capable of taking care of herself on her own but feeling the loneliness when she's not near anyone else. She's got little fear, and for good reason; those legs are strong and those talons short but sharp, not that she'd ever go around picking fights for no reason. There's an intelligence in her eyes that some Powlets simply lack, and although she can't talk you can tell she's thinking and can recognize many words you say. Granted, intelligence for a Powlet is different than intelligence for a Dragon, but if you ever wanted one you could train to come when called, and learn a few simple commands, this female would be a very good choice for a feathery dog.
